I love this recipe for an easy dinner. It is something that you can pair with so many different sides, and it is simple, quick, and an absolute crowd pleaser.
What you need: Pork Chops
2 cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of onion salt
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 teaspoons of sesame oil
Directions:
If you have pork chops that are on the slimmer side they can be left as is, but if your pork chops are thicker than a centimeter - cut down the middle of the pork chops width wise
Crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk until the eggs are beaten
In a separate bowl, combine your breadcrumbs, onion salt, garlic powder and red chili flakes
Lay your pork chops in the egg mixture until coated, and then coat evenly with breadcrumbs until the whole pork chop is covered - repeat with all
In a large skillet on medium heat add the olive oil and sesame oil
Cook your pork chops on each side for 2-3 minutes until crisp and cooked through
I love to top them with raspberry jelly for an added flare, and helps with the natural dryness of pork
Serve and enjoy!
